Convention/Convocation Chords

I am a young musician who has been asked to play for a national convention & so I would like to know if there are any musicians that could give me some chords or maybe an idea of what to do becuase at the moment as far as "Talk Music" I kind of struggle trying to find to create different progressions.

Honestly I usually just play random chords lol I'll mess around until something sticks. I also like to play a slow song or take a song and slow it down. If whoever is speaking mentions a song or uses a line from a song I'll pick up on that and play it. Talk music is really wide open.
