Tech 21 Bass Power Wedge 60
Lots of umph from such a small package. It is a 60W powered speaker that requires a preamp. I use this with my B3 as a preamp. I use it as a monitor where I have PA support or a small room...

The one on the left is a modded Brice HXB Fretless.. It is a cheap but decent bass.. I modded it with a BassMods preamp.
The one on the right is a Peavey Cirrus fretless.. I wasn't sure if I would like a fretless and I didn't want to spend a lot of money.. so I initially got that Brice from Rondo Music. I sold my Kingston KZ 5 and added some cash and got a KZ6 but I found that a 6 was not for me at the moment.. so I traded that KZ6 for the Peavey and some cash.. I like fretless bass.. much more than I did 6ers.
For my amps I use a GB Streamliner 900 and a SL 9.2 (not at the same time of course...

) and for cabs a Glasstone Lil G and a Tri 115. I have never had to use both cabs at once yet. I got a great deal on the 9.2 Max when they were going out of business so between those two amps I will probably be set for the duration... The cabs are nioce as well.. Everything you see here except the Brice, the Breedlove, the 9.2 and of course the 78 Jazz I got off of TalkBass.

This is an older picture of my Heir.. I have since installed a Delano Sonar preamp and some Delano pups in it..

Breedlove Atlas... A very nice ABG. Plays well, sounds great acoustically and has a built in tuner.

This 78 Jazz was my first real bass.. boughtit in 78 from Alex Axe on 48th St in Manhattan for $537. I still have the receipt.

Last but not least... these are my two go to basses. A Lakland 55-01 and a Brubaker Brute JJX.
The 55-01 on the left has Bart Mk5 pups in it and it had a LH3 Pre in it when I got it.. I was originally planning to put an Audere PZ4 that I bought a few months prior (you have to do these things in stages) in my Heir.. but then I got the idea to take the LH3 out of the 55-01 and put it in the Heir.. in effect making it like a 55-02... and put the Audere in the 55-01. I love it..! I still have DW to partly thank for getting this bass.. Indirectly you kind of pointed me in that direction.. I found that I really liked the way the Lakland felt in my hands.. I had a JV24 that I sold on TB because it was too heavy and the neck was too long.. It was a great bass with a URetro 01 pr in it and it sounded great but playing it became more of a burden than I wanted to deal with after a left shoulder injury so I sold it. I was going to just be happy and call it a day when GAS and timing took over and I came across a 55-02 on TB so I used the money I got from the JV24 and I finally was able to get that 55-02 that I had always been wanting... What a let down. I was planning to sell the 55-02 and just bank the money.. when I came across an add on TB for the Brute.. I had heard of them and when I read the add... it dawned on me that this bass could be what I was looking for... It had quad Barts in it with both pups switchable... and a Bart NTMB 3 PP pre and a Hipshot A 18mm bridge.. so I did some research on Brubaker and their Brutes.. which are like the Skylines are to the U.S. Laklands and instead of just calling it a day I pulled the trigger on the Brute and sold the 55-02. This Brute was sent back to Kevin Brubaker by it's original owner and he did the routing and what not and the installation of the upgrades.. This bass is the best bass I have ever owned.. It plays like a dream... is perfectly balanced for me.. and the way they do their necks it almost feels like a 32" bass but it isn't.. .. The Brutes are not too pricey and the build is very good.. better than the Skyline build IMO. The necks are flatter and wider.. a tad.. but they are very comfortable to play...
I will most likely sell the Heir and the Brice.. but the rest I will possibly keep unless I just come into a lot of money one day and can buy whatever I want... but between the Brute, the 55-01 and the Cirrus I am quite satisfied with everything I have.
