Question?
« on: March 09, 2005, 09:59:46 AM »
I can play, but when I play it just doesn't have the flow. I'm currently working on the Classical, "Lord I'm Coming Home." When My aunt, who plays at my church, plays it, it sounds so good. It just flows, but when I play it, I don't get the flow. What do I need to do? I think maybe I need to add some stuff in, but I'm not sure. Any help will be gladly accepted.

Thanks again,

God Bless

If you could provide an audio clip it may be easier to help you.

Wesleywoods welcome to the LGM website.  The problem is more than likely with your left hand (which is my problem also).  What do you typically do with it??

Try using the 1 and the 5 on the left hand or the 1,5,1(octave)
ex.in C

C G / E G C

OR

C G C / G C E

YOU CAN ALSO DO TRITONES

E Bb / E G C

OR

Bb E / G C E

ALSO ADD A DOM7TH TO THE LEFT HAND

C G Bb / E G C

U CAN TAKE THE G OUT AND HAVE

C Bb / E G C

OR EVEN

C E Bb / E G C

TRY THESE CHORDS OUT!!! THEY ALL HAVE A DIFFERENT VOICING WHICH MAKES THE CHORD MORE FLAVOR AND FULLER  :D
