I heard this predicted on pianodownloadsdotcom
The speaker referred to smokie norful  I need you now
Now that my ears are open I notice it played on many other songs such as
"We offer praise".

the other comment that I took notice of, was that realistic pianos such as some ivory patches don't lend themselves
to transitional and talk music neither do many Rhodes patches

he explained that these instruments are connected to other venues and genres  ie jazz clubs, piano lounges , las vegas
I noticed that some of the most realistic grand pianos and Rhodes and wurlies were not so easy to use during service to keep it worshipful.

This explanation makes a lot of sense.

The concept seems to be that thinner sounding pianos and pianos that may not be as realistic
are very transparent which is what may be exactly what is needed for worship.

I am not backing the idea.
but put forth the idea for a vote

so do you think the triton rack will be the next sought after gospel piece?
To be or not to be that is the question you anwer when you pray practice and read your word

Yes sir it has been a while
I have been away from the music ministry since 2009
I have still been playing but not really innovating or trying to really progress.

I have been busy with earthly matters

But I am back now. getting into it
and wow what a change
LGM has changed a lot

the cats coming into the scene now are light years ahead of what I was seeing 10 years ago when I started.

It is like I am that guy who fell asleep and woke up and everyone was different.

I think far more people played motifs on recordings then tritons

I think the triton sound is not defined enough to merit it being sought after Just my opinion.

Im very interested to hear others thoughts on this. The two sample Libraries I use are Synthogy's Ivory and Gospel Musicians MKS Sensations. I tell you the truth. MKS gets used more than three times as much. Ivory gets a thumbs up for realism. This adds a nice touch to traditional hymns sang during communion. Jamal's MKS sensations handles everything else. Good dynamic and expressiveness can be had with minimal tweaking. The MKS library you hear in this video is "NOT" mks sensation. Its precision sounds P20 mks library. I did do a review of MKS sensation in another video.

Heres the video where I made the triton remark. My apologies for the mic level.

Sounds that keep me from buying keyboards....

Really?!!!!! The Trition/Trinity was the King of boards before the motif...it was on records all the time!.....I think the people of the time thought the same about the mks 20! I think we may have to give it some more years!
