This song very difficult
« on: February 24, 2013, 04:40:07 PM »
Hello guys back with another thread. Im kind of having problems picking up Fred Hammond's Song called: Awesome God. I find that song very difficult to play on the guitar. I dont know the chords but this goes to especially to if your a beginner like I am. I mean I have a couple of songs I can play under my belt. But fred hammond song is a little different its not like there playing I-V-vi-IV there's a whole lot of things going on in the music that I find very difficult to interpret.

Thank you for viewing my thread.

One of my favorite songs.....trying to convince our worship leader to have us do this song.  But it really isn't that difficult.  It basically starts with a bluesy sounding I7-V7-V7 progression that it goes into this jazzier section which I can't recall now.  But take your time; listen to it and don't try to figure everything out all at once.
