Georgia Muscian Needs Help!
« on: March 05, 2005, 11:26:41 PM »
I am getting back into playing.  I took piano lessons from middle school to high school and then took a break up until this year.

I would like to know how the male musicians feel about female musicians.  In my area I only know of three to five female organist/keyboardists.  The attitude here is if you’re not already apart of the select group they don’t really don’t welcome you.

I already play a different style than any one in my area but I would like to know what are some of the things that I can do to improve my skill.

Thanking everyone in advance.

How you doing uniquepraise?Which area of georgia do you stay in?I stay in the south georgia area and we have a lot of female keyboardist and some organist.some play just as well as the men,but we don't discriminate against one another. If you have a different style you just have to work at it.If you like jazzy feel, quartet,or that good church swing.Just do what you do.
simple but complex
