Yamaha EX5

I just bought a Yamaha EX5 online.  I turned it on, I clicked "voice", I can see all the voices, but I can't hear anything.  I have it plugged in to a speaker directly, but there still is no sound!  HELP!  Any ideas what I am missing?

When you get a new synth one smart thing to do as soon as you get it is do a factory reset.....this way any settings etc. that the previous owner had will be reset and you can start from scratch....but be sure to save any sounds that you may want to keep from the previous owner....

Buing used synths is sometimes a good way to get some nice extra sounds for free....(commercial or other)
