So yes, as LaylaMonroeLarue posted already, Leilani Isabelle was delivered Friday night around like 9:45ish (they still haven't given me the official time). 2lbs, 2oz, 13" long. She's sooooo small! She looks like her father right now, but I think that's gonna change after a while(not a bad thing, I'm jus' sayin....)
She's really small and beautiful....and she's OUR miracle baby! Thank everyone for all the prayers and well wishes.
So, there's this test that newborn take right, it sounds like Asgaurd...anyways out of 10 Leilani scored 8/9, a miracle for a premie that went through everything she did!! Her lungs are pretty much fully developed and she's now breathing room air, with minor help from a respiratory machine. I think they gave her milk last night via tube to test her digestion, if all goes well she'll be receiving more milk throughout the day; hopefully she'll grow and come home!!
Nique is also doing well and will be coming home tonight sometime, but I'm going to see my neice today....I had to leave after the delivery to get ready for a youth conference in Missouri, and I haven't been able to actually see her for more than 1 minute. I'm so excited/nervous/ancy right now!!!!!
Thanks again everyone, the prayers of the righteous availeth much!!! And I'ma make that fo- girl login tonight....if I have to open up the laptop and type the address myself in front of her lol!!!
