TUG OF WAR (MEN vs WOMEN)

So here's the deal.   The first to 1,000 or -1000 wins. 

Women +1  because she was added to man

Men      -1  because he lost a rib

Starting at zero any guy can post -1 and subtract from the total but no consecutive posts.  If one guy posts a -1, another different guy must post a -1 before the previous guy can post again likewise for the women but with +1's.

If the women reaches 5000 they win.  If the men reaches -5000 we win.   All you have to do is quote post +1 or -1 including the new total.  If mathematics is your challenge, please use a calculator  .

Couple things:  Your first sentence says 1,000, but later you say 5,000.   Secondly, I'm not sure I get it.  Are we supposed to post things that are good about women, and y'all post things that are good about men? 

Oh, and I think we should get a +1 for that correction.

Oh thanks sister.  I had it at 5,000 and changed to 1000 at the last minute.  It dawned on me how long it took to get to 1000 on another site.

So, if I'm understanding this correctly: In this thread, I would post "-1".  SJon would post "-1" behind me and the tally would now be -2, and so on.  The ladies would do the same.  The first to reach absolute value 1,000 wins, right?

I truly have no idea what I'm doing or how this works, but it looks like we now have +2 which makes us better.

LOGIC SAYS: you have to put the total or else who the heck is going to do the tallying??? Can you imagine getting to 583 and having a discrepancy? Who's going to go back and count? I mean, other than PHB? Seriously.

Okay, we need another clarification, I thought that the plusses take away from the minuses and vice-versa...  I guess that's silly, because then we'd never get to 1,000.   Okay, we'll go with your way, lol.
