I am looking for a teacher in the NYC area. Does anyone have recommendations? I took classical lessons for many years when younger, but have forgotten almost everything by now. I'm looking to learn how to play gospel using chord theory and improvisation - not just read notes, although the instructor should have a solid foundation. I'd also like to learn jazz, and if I could learn both, even better.
New York has a million teachers, but it's hard to know who's good, which is why I'm hoping the LGM family can help.
