Grow stronger in the Lord (improve bible reading, prayer life, worship life, etc)-Progressing but still got a ways to go!
-Improve my health holistically (physical, mental, financial, emotional, etc)-Doing well in some areas, bad in others
-Go for either my Master of Divinity degree, Master of Social Work or Post-Baccalurete certificate in teaching (really leaning towards Master of Divinity). Waiting on God's direction....
-Help my parents move to a better place of living. Tabled until further notice
-Continue to develop my skills as a musician. Not as much as I should but I'm ready!
-Continue to develop my assertive skills. Progressing a little bit.
-Continue to develop my leadership skills. Doing ok with that.
-Move into next assignment God has given me for the kingdom (will be giving more information near beginning of 2011). Still in progress waiting on God's continued direction.
-Watch my mouth (for some reason I'm beginning to be very opinionated......LOL!). Doing ok.
-Take women out on dates which will hopefully lead to....................... no progress at all!
-Finding the woman God has for me! No progress at all!
-Be more social. Doing ok but been having moments of being ant-social and being kind of shy.
-Continue to heal from the past. God is working!
-Spend less time on social networking. Not doing well at all!
-Meet Trina Washington aka TrinaTrine in person. Working on that as we speak.
-Read at least 3-5 books front and back a month. Ummmm.....
-Being more confident in who God is calling me to be and not be so focused on comparing myself to others. Getting better!

It's time for the 2nd half of the year and so this weekend I've been evaluating this year so far. Of the goals listed above, I've accomplished 7 of the 17 goals. I'm working on one of the goals so basically 7-8 of the 17 goals have either been accomplished or are in the process of being accomplished. Looking to get started accomplishing the other goals!

** Expand my muscian skills (keyboard and bass guitar)
** Study the word more and learn more about God's will concerning my  life
** Not let ppl get to me as easily
** To expand my skills and knowledge more as a nurse, continuing to love my patients and to be a strong advocate for them
** To listen more, talk less
** To give more and expect less
** To please My GOD in all aspects of living
** To push my kids harder in school, (even though they make all A's..they tend to be distracted easily by other children's behaviors)
** And lastly...I wanna teach my horse how to bow!!! I think its cute

Establish a 3 month emergency fund (next year I hope to double that)

Determine my next education step (can't decide between a masters, a bachelor in a quasi related field, or certifications)
Plan with my wife for her to either go back to the work force, get more education, or have kid number 2 (#2 may not happen #1 was rough enough)

paying off debt is on hold to make sure the house is energy effienct as much as possible by winter

I just looked back on mine. I'm still good with the fast food thing.
Still working on being a better PT leader (I believe I've grown though)
Haven't taken keyboard in a while, I believe I know enough to teach myself though.
Slacked off a whole lot with praying/reading. Yeah, its not looking too good.

Anyways, I wanna add to that list to get a braiding license.

I think I'm doing pretty well on my list. That stop trying to please people isn't going so well but I believe I'm getting better everyday.

2. Become a better musician
3. Get more in the Word
4. Get healthy

I'm going to sit down the next couple of days (particularly tonight) and start writing/typing some of my goals for 2012.

Anybody feel like sharing any of their goals for 2012?

One thing I know for sure for me is that I must spend significantly less time on social networking sites.

Lol! I think I accomplished about 6 out of 17 goals. Not good but hey at least I accomplished some....LOL!

I thought it was just me. For 2011, I accomplished about 2 of my 6 goals. I did make some progress on some of the others, but they will all have to carry over to 2012.

I recently posted my 2012 goals in my prayer group. I'll have to look them over to see if I'll post them here. I know one was maintaining a 4.0 average in these classes I'm taking, and another was reducing my spending by 50% and add another stream of income. Lose about 15 lbs.

gained body fat...

only about at 2 weeks for our emergency fund

enrolling in the spring to get certification in computer repair for my eventual side business

To my surprise, most of my goals for this year are very general. Usually, I'm pretty specific, but this year I have mostly general, immeasurable goals.

I also have a few personal ones that I'd rather not mention here.

- I will not be giving what is holy to the dogs or giving my pearls to pigs. A-
- I will not participate in any ministry, organization, church, group, auxiliary, department or event that is disorderly, chaotic, mediocre, or unholy. A-
- I really want to talk less (venting, giving my opinion)... still have a lot of work to do in that area. C+
- Add another stream of income. C
- Rebuild my business selectively. F
- Practice not taking the darts that come with administration ministry so personally.  N/A
- Take better care of my body.  B-
- Strengthen my prayer life and study time, and spend more time writing and less time hanging out on FB and LGM. C+
- Oh, this is a big one: be nicer and more flexible (and more productive) on my day job. C
- Still working on my perfect credit score. C

I'm going to simplify for 2012, and work on one goal. Consistency.  I need to study it and get in depth at how to apply it across the board.  When I wake up, I need to review what it means and how I need to apply it each day.
