If I could transport a few cool organ and e.piano sounds, I would be set.

That + one other  piano sound [I'm thinking of a specific roland piano sound].

Lets join hands in prayer for T-Block's Casio endorsement. maybe it'll even come with a few digital watches. lol

Hater!!  Though I wouldn't mind a few complementary gift watches with a casio keyboard purchase.

Yes, that is a very good price even though the board is discontinued.  I am not sure though, if they will ship abroad.

Hey every1......

I SWEAR by YAMAHA, which has the best keyboards in the WORLD LOL!!!! But seriously, I have a Motif 6, Motif Rack, Motif XS8 and a S90ES and I LOVE THEM ALL!!!! Used to own an MO8 but I sold it...

The best thing about Yamaha keyboards is their performance mode... just beautiful. You can layer and split the keyboard all kinds of ways! On all my boards I have 9 or 10 performances saved with all my favorite combos for any situation live or studio. I use my S90ES for almost everything, it sounds amazing- For my layers, I always use a great piano sound (Power Grand, Natural S) with an EP (BalladKey, Vintage'74, BellDX), strings (HardEns, MediumEns) and a synth (Powered, BigSquish).

is your piano sound a performance with those two patches layered together? or do you have both those pianos + those EPs in one performance...

how exactly do you have all this layered up?

I took the MO-8 to church last weekend and for some weird reason, there is an annoying humm through the PA system! I've tried every port too, R - L - even the headphone jack and still humming! I say weird because we plug the church's Roland back in (Left mono) and absolutely no hum... so... I may be thinking about upgrading sooner then later :/

I'm really torn as to what i need to get! I thought the MO8 was 'all that' but now having my doubts (see the above review lol). I really don't need portability but i'm thinking very positively about a 76 key Yamaha ___________ something. I'm now COGIC and could use a board that's awesome for 'shout' and 'praise' music! I say torn because I really LOOOOOOVEEE the sounds of this: http://youtu.be/r4O18ldT2DQ
Help?

LOL.... For my usual sound, it is a piano with an EP a little softer volume wise.... I always have strings and syn brass, but they are turned down until needed. For most stuff I play, piano, EP and a lil strings for the bed seem to work great... And for shout music, just piano and syn brass.

hey P;you probably just need to balance the gain of your keys thru the amp.Look @ back of the MO-there should be a gain control trim knob-adjust that and see if it helps. If not-do the same thing @ your amp/mixer-have to balance different line signals from different manufacturers.

If you still have an issue-may be a ground issue-try another ac/outlet plug for your board.Last case-get a direct box for your board-2 if you run stereo.

Yes-the price of really good gear is much cheaper-for 2 k +/-;it's possible to get a nice board.
