Basically, today in church as my dad was preaching, I kept thinking, "Whats gonna happen when all the real, true preachers pass?" Now of course I know that there will obviously be other preachers, but it seems like theres gonna be very little substance with the next generation preachers. Now Im not saying Im being called, but something inside of me feels like its my duty to get the Word out. Like theres so much watered down garbage out here, somebody has to put out some substance. I dunno, I just thought I'd share. Am I the only one who feels that way?

Why do you feel that way? No disrespect, but thats putting a limit on God's power and anointing. I believe that there are quite a number of preacher's out for different and wrong motives, but there are plenty of preacher's out there that no one has heard of preaching the true unadulterated word. The bible says there will be a great falling away, and that ppl will not want to hear sound doctrine, so its not the thing of having less true preacher's or substance as having ppl that want to hear and flock to that true word. Its just like the radio for example. Just because there are songs getting alot of airplay and popular with mainstream doesnt mean there arent great artists putting out great music that you have to dig to find out about.

I understand what Ma1ne is saying, but I totally agree with my brother.

It's unfortunate (but necessary) that we hear so much of the negative press, but the reality is that: THERE IS A REMNANT.

Very good point. It just seems like any and everything is being accepted. We are def in the last days.

When things got really bad on the Earth.. GOD decided to cut out the rotten stuff and replant.. so he took a remnant.. Noah & crew for himself .. and 86d the rest... Through out the history of Israel.. no matter how crazy the king got or how far he led the people astray .. or how willing they were to follow... In scripture I used to be amazed at how often I read the phrase "..and the Israelites did evil in the sight of GOD.." or something to that effect... but now I can see how that can happen.. basically in one generation our society has totally changed.. Things that were either never even considered as options... or were never in doubt.. have now been either made "good" or rendered as "evil" in the eyes of men... but there is still and always will be a remnant on the Earth.

I understand the OP's concern... but I think it is a little presumptuous to think that there is so much watered down garbage out there that you have to come save the day... I mean.. if you got the call ... then by all means roll with it.. but GOD isn't done with us yet by a long shot so you will have good company for a while yet..
