I have actually witnessed a wig coming off a shouting person in church. The woman had teeny plaits sticking up all over her head. That was 35 years ago. I thought they were more integrated into the real hair now to the extent that they wouldn't easily come off. Can they not be secured? Just curious.

You must've been in the same service as me, but that would've been about 28 - 30 years ago in a small church in Ogden, UT, lol.

I remember once my godmother's hat flew off and she had this itsy bitsy ponytail sticking straight up on the very top of her head. From then on, everyone called her Evangelist Tweety Bird when she wasn't around. It was like 4 strands of hair sticking up in a little bitty rubber band. LOL

Sketch, are you familiar with the original song? I think that's the part that made it so very funny. And the accents. And the very lame lyrics. And the choreo*cough*graphy.

And I didn't laugh at the wig lady video either. The only part I chuckled at was when the camera lady said "she don't worry about that." That was funny to me. But yeah, a wig falling off in that manner wouldn't make me laugh. Now if it was a young person cutting up and their wig fell off, I'd probably laugh.
