I have always loved jazz music and my problem is playing jazz music. Can anyone tell me what to do, what chords and were to use them? I realy need your help

Chords are only part of Jazz...Gospel uses many of the same types of harmonies, but Jazz voicings tend to be 'thinner', w/less vocal parts, more interactions between instruments, more solos and runs...

I'm finding the best way to learn jazz is to just listen and play along, but it's good to read up on it too.

Good way to learn jazz is to listen like said above, learn your chord symboks, if you don' already know them, buy The Real Book 6th edition, and pick a jazz tune to learn.  Learn the basic structure, learn the melody, and then find a recording and analyze how the pianist interpreted the song. Also transcribe the solo section if you can.
