In my effort to "Make God Famous" please share with me/us what successful things are being done at your church?

What do you mean by 'successful'?  Can you provide examples from your church?
Despite our communication technology, no invention is as effective as the sound of the human voice.

@Mic, Pastor Jeff's church's "theme" (or motto or mission) is to make God famous - in other words, spreading His name, sharing His love, living out His character so the world can see who He really is, shining their light so others can see who He is. I think that's what he means but I'm sure he can say it better. :)

@Pastor Jeff, I did a thread a little while ago asking what works well at your church. Everyone offered good stuff, and SisT's list was especially helpful. Can't remember the name of the thread but I'll try to find it later.
When you're in love you don't want to fall asleep bc reality is finally better than your dreams.

What does your church do that you think is cool?

I'm looking to present some new ideas for outreach, evangelism, youth, marketing, conferences, life enrichment, education, and pretty much all the functioning (or should-be functioning) ministries in our church.

I brainstormed earlier (while I was writing my blog - that's not a plug, I really DID brainstorm while writing my blog... lol) and came up with a few ideas that I think are pretty good. And that thread we had a few weeks ago about Thanksgiving and Christmas helped me out a lot, too.

Now, I'm looking for a complete brainstorming list... I want about a hundred ideas to go through and see what we can do next year. What do you do at your church that is really popular with the people?

At my church we have an exercise ministry that meets 2x a week which is growing & actually has brought in church members. We are in the process of "rolling it out" to the community as a function to show them that we care about them holistically.

Go sit down...  Everybody knows the real deal moms don't need a belt, they will be your worst nightmare wielding a purse strap or whatever's handy, lol.
