The Forgiveness of Sins

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 1:9

This is such a powerful and wonderful verse.  I am so glad that Jesus is so faithful to forgive us of our sins.  I like to call this verse as a "just in case" verse.  Of course, if we are living the saved, sanctified life, we should not sin; however, we sometimes come short of His glory.  Therefore, we should be appreciative of what Jesus did on the cross because now we have an opportunity for the forgiveness of sins and it doesn't stop there.  He will clean us all of unrighteousness. Glory!  Therefore, go today know that if you have messed up then Jesus is FAITHFUL and JUST to forgive us of our sins. Be Blessed!

all the years I have been in church and I am still learning about the vastness of knowledge that is contained in the bible.
