Are you using the Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit to hook it up to your board? If so, where'd you get it?

Nice! I've been fighting the decision to get an iPad 2, but I really need those music apps, and Android doesn't have them yet. :( *sigh* Oh well. It'll be just my luck, when I buy it, some apps will come out. :|

Wow! Are you using the sounds in GrarageBand?

Was thinking about getting a laptop to replace my aging iMac, but would this be less expensive?

It's my Axiom 61 contoller, don't buy the Ipad just for garageband :) The sound is decent but doesn't match my Yamaha S70. There's a sampler feature in garageband that's kool. Say or play a recorded tone and it samples it so you can play it back on the keyboard.

Okay - we have an ancient acoustic piano, and a Kawai electronic piano at church and I was looking for better sounds via MIDI. Have brought my old Emu Proteus/1 sound module in, but there are bumps and hurdles in getting used to using it...

Drums are on the Ipad. I have to load another video showing the programed drum patterns that come with the Garageband app.

My older GB loops aren't all that great, particularly the jazz stuff.

Some of the loops in the XF are way cool;as are some 3 rd party stuff.Always on the prowl for good loops and a way to import/incorporate them.
