question:

For the book of the bible ... is it going to be one of those super deep conversations? I guess its too early to tell. The reason I ask is because I know we have a multitude of denominations and I was just wonder how different interpretations are going to clash.

Good question. I used to wonder the same thing, about a year ago lol.

But, we used to have Bible Study here in the chat room. I don't really remember any of us "clashing" really.

I understand though. A lot of people have different interpretations of scriptures and things. So..... idk.  :-\

Just to clarify, you don't have to wait until one book discussion is finished to start another book discussion. As we discussed earlier in this thread (I think U13 raised the question), we can have several discussion threads active simultaneously since this isn't a typical book club. What makes ours unique (and better, IMO) is that we are "fluid" in that we can have 3 or 4 (or 34) "clubs" going on at the same time. We can join whichever book discussions we choose. Someone who may not want to read "Choir Director" may be interested in going through the Proverbs or one of Paul's epistles. Someone who doesn't want to do a Bible book may want to join a different discussion.

There's nothing stopping us/you from starting a new "club" whenever anyone expresses interest in joining you. Where 2 or 3 are gathered together... :D

Umm.....can we suggest books of the Bible as well???? I'm kinda into that now a days lol.

Yes! I love Proverbs. A bible study I try to watch on streaming is studying Philippians right now. Oooo it's great! But I'm definitely in.

Yeah, I had this in mind. But with me and reading, I'm not sure if that'll work out lol.  :-\

Why don't you take a look at the examples in the Pagan Christianity thread and the Choir Director thread and see which of those formats would work best. If neither, come up with a format that will work, post it, and go.

I'm over 60% through it and the past few chapters have changed my outlook on EVERYTHING.  My walk with God, my relationships with my wife, daughter, family, and friends, and God Himself.
