Ending Chords

I just want to share this with all the musicians outhere. In terms of ending chords, there are several options that you can choose from such as ending on certain progressions or just soloing the chord to end. Again, as a musician you have the sole liberty to choose the way that you would like to close out your selection but here are some ideas to think about:

Option # 1---End on the 4 chord

If you choose to end on the 4 chord make such that you band is in line with what you are playing as well as you singers. Nothing is worse when your singers are not in sync with your band. This is my ultimate favourite because of the fact that the 1 chord leads into the 4 chord.

Option # 2---End on a 4-3-2-5-1 progression

This is a great option for any organ player, keyboard player. This is due to the fact that you are just simply going down the scale and ending with the classic 2-5-1 progression.

Here is an example:

Key of Eb
Left Hand/Right Hand

4 chord---->Ab-Eb/G-C-Eb
3 chord--->G/G-Bb-C-Eb
2 chord--->F-C/Ab-Bb-C-Eb
5 chord--->Bb-F/Ab-Bb-C-Eb
1 chord--->Eb-Bb/G-Bb-Eb

Hope you enjoy and also tell is what you think
