Just listened to it.  It's a classic walking bass line in Ab. Trick is not to try to match the bassist note for note.  Just keep walking the line with your own feel and flavor.  After I spend a little more time with it (won't be tonight) I may post a video.

This is the first song I ever learned as a new bass player/music ministry member.

Malthumb's advice is right on point. Don't worry about playing it note for note. Chances are, your music ministry is not going to sing it  note-for note, nor will any of the other musicians either. It's a pretty complex arrangement with a LOT going on.

Maybe it's just me but I don't think this song would be hard to learn note for note.  My teacher told me when I first started out is try to learn it like the cd.  That's the only way to push your limits and get better.   This song has a few licks in it but other than that it's straight forward.  What I do is listen to the song over and over before I even touch my bass and learn it in my head from front to back.  I learn every lick, turn around , and break that the band does.  Then I come back and put it all on my bass.  The only way to get better it to push you self.

Also, you do know who that is on bass right?  If I'm thinking of the some guy, that's this dude from Chicago.  I got a video of him on my fb page playing a gig with New Direction.  Dude is baddd!!!  He was killing a 4-string Fender on my video.  So you can't expect to do what he does overnight.  Thats like a 10yr old pee-wee player expecting to throw the ball like Drew Bres in just a few weeks (I live in NOLA!!!).  It takes time and practice.
