Mine are...


Pray more, read more *grow8
Focusing more in school (still not a fan of it, but I gotta do it)
Put more effort into learning the keyboard no matter how frustrating I get
Making my voice teacher sweat less lol
Getting a car
Being a better PT leader
I'm gonna try to *listen* more
SAVE money, (well, I've already cut back on fast food)

Very general ones, I have specifics but don't care to go into them here:

Stick to my budget
Stick to or exceed my giving goals
Pray, Read, Study, Write consistently
Practice Keyboard consistently
Build my business

I have some ministry goals, but if I work on the above, the ministry goals should be achieved indirectly

Read the entire new testament using this bible plan our Pastor gave us
Build a website for my business and find a way to market to new customers outside of my social circle
Read about 15 books on business, marketing, sales and photography
Start investing in mutual funds and stocks
Go back to school in September
become a beast on the organ
join the gym at work and lose about 80lbs and gain some muscle
find a trophy wife

To my surprise, most of my goals for this year are very general. Usually, I'm pretty specific, but this year I have mostly general, immeasurable goals.

I also have a few personal ones that I'd rather not mention here.

- I will not be giving what is holy to the dogs or giving my pearls to pigs.
- I will not participate in any ministry, organization, church, group, auxiliary, department or event that is disorderly, chaotic, mediocre, or unholy.
- I really want to talk less (venting, giving my opinion)... still have a lot of work to do in that area.
- Add another stream of income.
- Rebuild my business selectively.
- Practice not taking the darts that come with administration ministry so personally.
- Take better care of my body.
- Strengthen my prayer life and study time, and spend more time writing and less time hanging out on FB and LGM.
- Oh, this is a big one: be nicer and more flexible (and more productive) on my day job.
- Still working on my perfect credit score.

Here are my goals for 2011:

-Grow stronger in the Lord (improve bible reading, prayer life, worship life, etc)
-Improve my health holistically (physical, mental, financial, emotional, etc)
-Go for either my Master of Divinity degree, Master of Social Work or Post-Baccalurete certificate in teaching (really leaning towards Master of Divinity).
-Help my parents move to a better place of living.
-Continue to develop my skills as a musician.
-Continue to develop my assertive skills.
-Continue to develop my leadership skills.
-Move into next assignment God has given me for the kingdom (will be giving more information near beginning of 2011).
-Watch my mouth (for some reason I'm beginning to be very opinionated......LOL!).
-Take women out on dates which will hopefully lead to.......................
-Finding the woman God has for me!
-Be more social.
-Continue to heal from the past.
-Spend less time on social networking.
-Meet Trina Washington aka TrinaTrine in person.
-Read at least 3-5 books front and back a month.
-Being more confident in who God is calling me to be and not be so focused on comparing myself to others.

I'm so excited for 2011 and the great things God has been speaking to me about! My personal theme for 2011 is (and I don't care if it rhymes or not......#LaRueShrug) "Year of the Unveiling!" God has been working on me in 2010 and there is still a lot of work to be done, but God has been preparing me for the next assignment! I'm excited!!!

I swear you're my long lost brother.  This could've been my list, without the visit to L.A. (well, I could revisit, I enjoyed that trip), and school... well actually, school SHOULD be on my list, it just didn't make the cut, lol.

Only a few of us answered, but I wanted to look mine over and see what kind of progress I'm making. Thought you might want to look yours over, too.

Get 50% of my house remodeled.
Get a six pack (rode my bicycle to work today )
Pay off some more debt
Establish a 3 month emergency fund (next year I hope to double that)
Raise my son
Determine my next education step (can't decide between a masters, a bachelor in a quasi related field, or certifications)
Plan with my wife for her to either go back to the work force, get more education, or have kid number 2 (#2 may not happen #1 was rough enough)

2. Get into some alternate form of design, preferably Graphic Design. <-- accomplished this by creating my first web site (I showed it to you all) and doing some graphic design (I showed you all some of this as well). I even got a client who wants me to do some design for him. 
3. School. <--- Out for the summer, unless I decide to do summer school. Completed the semester with decent grades. Could've did better. Darn Biology.

Finishing a screenplay wasn't on the list, but that has been one of my biggest personal accomplishments this year. I'm trying my hand at many different forms of writing. The next is the book mentioned above.
