OMG CSE, I love that!!!! Wow!

I don't know if they'd go for that at my church, but I'm sure going to put it on the list. I love that idea. Do they just draw a name from the bucket or is there a selection process? Do you see the same people repeatedly putting their names in? Do they select/draw the name during service?

Thanks, guys. I'm loving these ideas. So far, all of them will go on my list.
They just draw right before end of service, no rigmarole. On the last Sunday of the month, of course. I did hear my pastor say a quick prayer that a person who really had a need would get it.

My church just did an Event called "Breadfest".  We gave away over 500 bags of groceries to families in Warner Robins, GA.  Thought that was pretty cool...

Cool. How did you get the groceries? Do you know? And how did you identify the families that would get the groceries?
When you're in love you don't want to fall asleep bc reality is finally better than your dreams.

We had our church congregation get paper grocery bags with a list of groceries.  Members would get bags and get the appropriate groceries.  We also had sponsors who helped donate and also get groceries and turkeys as well.

We didn't have any set rules of who got what.  You just came and waited in line, fill out a regestration card and wait for your number to be called.
