[To answer your question, I do read chord charts] I'm both old and new to playing the keyboard: old in the sense that I took lessons as a kid and played in church when I was really young, but new in the sense that the Gospel style in all it's complexity is "new" to me since I haven't played much since elementary school...my career is time consuming. I'm trying to rediscover my talent and sheet music seems to be my only avenue since I can read...that never goes away thankfully...even if ever so slowly.
