Well I don't expect many people, if anyone, to see where I'm coming from with Clottey being a more dangerous fight. I'm just a pretty firm believer that styles make fights and I think this fight will be closer than people think.

...and JFunky...The Dodge Ball Champ...  :D priceless. I'm using that one.

Clottey will be dangerous. He doesn't quit and he doesn't fall down, so it will be a longer fight than many think... boring fight... but a long fight.

Well I guess everyone heard that the Berto vs. Mosely fight is off because Berto has lost family members in the earthquake in Haiti.

I hate that it happened this way but this does open the door for a Mayweather vs. Mosely fight. So I was wondering...

1. Do you think the fight will happen? I know which one of them wants this fight real bad.

2. If Floyd works his way out if this fight how do you think this will effect his legacy? This is the only logical opponent for Floyd.

Floyd has a MasterLock on that door.  It won't happen.

...okay.  This has stirred up quite a bit of talk at my job.  I don't know if the fight is official yet but here we go:  Do you think that Mayweather will dodge Mosley to now go on T.V. and state that he'll fight the winner of Pacquiao vs. Clottey?

...btw, I think that the Pac vs. Clottey fight will be a very good fight to watch because its going to actually be a fight and not a Nascar race. lol

I was going to say the article seems to imply that Floyd is duckin' The Pacman.

But, the article isn't implying, is it? Nor, have any of the Mayweather detractors.  :-\ :D

Yeah, I caught the un-implied implication.  All I can say is, we'll see.

"Many boxing insiders are convinced Mayweather demanded the extra testing above and beyond what is required according to the Nevada State Commission, as a scheme designed to cancel the highly risky though lucrative duel with Pacquiao because he secretly fears being brutally beaten up and knocked out by the Filippino marvel."

Well since Pacquiao won a seat in congress it may all be mute. Their actor/politicians continue to make movies and novellas on a reduced schedule but I don't know if a world class athlete can maintain his training schedule with his national legislative duties.
From what I hear, the whole country shuts down whenever he fights anyway.  I'm sure his schedule will be accomodating.

Stop right there!  If Pacquiao loses, it won't be because his "political career" (::)) didn't afford him time to train.  He's a hero in his home country because he's a great boxer.  He will be allowed aaaaaaall the time he wants to train.  If he loses it will be because he wasn't the better fighter on that night.

You may now resume your regulary scheduled programming.   :D

Manny looked real good on offense and lil suspect on defense...even tho, Margarito didn't hit him as much as I thought he did.  Manny admitted to being hurt in the fight.  After tonight's performance, I may change my stand on Mayweather/Pacquaio!  I still feel Floyd is the better fighter but I can see why he might be ducking Manny  :-\ :-\.  I pray that this fight happens sometime next year.

IS!

I still the Floyd would win, but it would be a battle.  It just seems Floyd doesn't want to go to war.

If Floyd saw the fight on Saturday, he's going to want Manny to take more than a blood test.  He'll ask for a DNA test, and pregnancy test, an I.Q. test, ANYTHING to get out of fighting him.

With Floyd's mounting legal issues, I doubt a fight is going to happen anytime soon anyway, even if he weren't dodging.
