Whats good LGM fam. I just got my hands on a Yamaha MM6 for $300. I'm trying to get some reviews, what do you guys think overall of the MM6?

Not a bad price for a MM6 in good condition at all.  They sound pretty good.

Yeah it is a pretty good price. They're like $549 at Guituar center and no less than $400 on Ebay. Plus I got a stand and sustain pedal. I think it has some pretty strait sounds too, not to mention very user friendly.

for $300. thats a steal. the cops are probably after u right now. lol

i love my MM6. The fact that its so lightweight makes taking it somewhere a breeze, although i do worry about it getting damaged for that same reason (as well as with other people bangin around on it, callin themselves playing). The sounds are pretty decent, not as extensive as a Motif, but you get by. I love the feel of the keys, and the only other board that i've tried that has better keys (unweighted keys) is the Motif XS6/XS7.

my biggest grip is that the programmed beats suck! But thats not why you buy a keyboard. So when i want to practice without a drummer i usually find myself using software on my computer to set up a decent drum loop.
For my God... let "Golden Axe" prevail.
