Was in a staff meeting today giving updates on my projects.

Well turns out I was first and started getting some rapid fire questions thrown at me.

Which in turn started to make me a little nervous.

When all of sudden I remember I forgot to put on deodorant.

Now I'm trying to answer the question while still thinking aww man I'm starting to sweat.

More questions come and I feel the sweat actually drop. I sniff the air wondering I hope I don't start to smell.

Finally the questions are over, I made it but I'm still sweating. The room is cold my finger tips are cold but I'm still sweating.

I think I smell something ....

Finally at intermission for our meeting I run to the locker room where I always keep my personal hygiene items just for cases like this.

Now I'm clean and smelling fresh :D

Still I'm pretty sure my coworker may have noticed :-\

The worst part about it is that being nervous about sweating just makes you sweat more, lol.

So today at work, I called techinical support for a computer program I use at work. After going through the IVR (interactive voice recording thingy) I was transferred to a person by the name of Sherri.

Me: Hi this is phbrown and I need help with this program
Sherri: Okay, you need to call 1-800-aab-cdef (number changed for confidentiality reasons)
Me: Thank you!

I hang up and proceed to dial.

1-800-abb-cdef

A voice recording answers

Female Voice: Hi I'm so glad you called I was getting lonely and was wondering where you were at. I can't wait for you to come over and stick your ****************

*CLICK*

I hung up that phone so fast it took me a minute to realize that I accidently called a phone sex line while at WORK! I called back the tech support to verify if I had the right number and then I realized my mistake that i doubled the wrong number. I finally got in touch with the tech support got my problem fixed. Then I emailed my supervisor about what happened. My supervisor wasn't at work today so hopefully everything will be okay tomorrow  :-\

I was walking to the printer one day and while walking an attractive lady walks pass.  I turn around to get a second look and when I turned back around my co-worker (who was actually 80 years old) was standing in front of me and she shouted, “She looks good doesn’t she doc.  You like that.  It’s ok to look because she is attractive.”

This didn’t happen at work but I’ll tell it anyway.  I was some issues with a bill and I called the 1-800-number.  I had to be about 20 at the time.  The conversation went like this…

Rep: Thank you for calling, this is Tyesha speaking may I help you
Me:  Yo what’s up Ty!  It’s been a minute since we talk, what’s going on.
Rep: I’m doing fine and yourself.
Me: I’m good, can’t complain.  How is everything with you?  What are you doing with yourself?
Rep: (Laughing) Who is this? I don’t remember you.
Me: This is Doc.  So now you are going to act like you don’t know me, stop tripping.
Rep: I don’t know you.  I don’t remember anyone by your name.
Me:  Come on…that’s cold.  We were tight, we talked on the phone all the time.
Rep:  Please.  How can I help you?
Me: This is Ty Williams right?
Rep: No.
Me: You didn’t go to Tech, NJ
Rep: No
Me: Oh my bad, I thought you were someone else.  You sound just like her.

It never dawned on me that call centers are located in other states.  Good thing she couldn’t see me.
