This entire DVD is crazy...definitely a must have for any fan of music. His band "ASAP" threw most of the songs together last minute but pulled it off like true pros!

Who is this guy...Tony Royster jr.?!?!?! I've never even heard of him before. He's prolly the worst drummer I've ever heard in my life................................... .............SIKE............Yo Tony is the man fa'real. I hafta be honest tho there was a time when I really wasn't all that fond of his style. I felt like he was almost too precise, like it was too robot-ish. But I really have a new found respect for him and his style of play, because the more I fall in love with music, the more I realize how hard it is to play that way, and that his musicality and sense of timing is super-duper-rediculous... ;D

INSANE.  8)

I loved it. One thing I liked is that it all made sense to my ear. I emphasize "my" because I know that this is completely subjective, but a lot of times my ear gets confused with what a lot of cats are doing these days, namely "gospel drummers" for lack of better words. Tony gets syncopated for days and isn't shy to real weird phrasing but it's so in context that it makes sense every time.
