It's just that female popstars marketability goes on a downward trajectory after having a child. Cases in point Brandy, Monica, Britney Spears...the list goes on. They may do alright and hold steady like Erykah Badu but they are never as marketable as they were before they became mothers. Just seems the way the popular music industry goes. I kind of think that's why Beyonce has taken her time to start a family.
