James Brown is required listening for anyone professing to be a drummer in any genre of music. He had perhaps the tighest band ever in the history of music. He could call a turnaround anywhere he pleased, and you'd better not miss it or it literally cost you money. I'd do almost anything to own as little as 2% of his publishing.
