I need to vent. I'm sorry. I've been trying so hard to be more positive and not verbally say those things that are negative or can be construed as negative, but I'm having a difficult week and I just have to say (type) this in a safe place before I lose it in this office.
I cannot stand the paranoid-follow-upper!!!!
If this lady sends me one more numbered e-mail with a list of already-answered items to look into or follow up on for her, I am going to light into her as though my parents didn't raise me right.
You like lists? How about this one?
1. If I tell you that Payroll said your check is being processed on Thursday, do NOT e-mail me and ask me to confirm that it's being processed today.
2. If I tell you your business cards are being ordered when your BB number is received, do NOT e-mail me and ask me to have so-and-so confirm that your business cards are being ordered.
3. If you send me your stupid expense report via e-mail asking me to check it before you mail it, and I check it and tell you it's fine, do not then e-mail me to tell me you mailed it and ask me to confirm when I receive it and let you know that everything is done correctly.
4. And worst of all offenses, do not call me to ask me if I received your stupid e-mail and do not e-mail me to ask me if I received your voice mail.
STOP WITH ALL THE RIDICULOUS FOLLOW-UP BEFORE I PUT YOU ON MY 'BOTTOM OF THE PILE' LIST, YOU PARANOID, OBSESSIVE-COMPULSIVE MANIAC!!!!!
This one lady is driving me absolutely insane. Two new hires at the same time, both doing the same thing in two different cities, and only ONE is driving me up the wall. I can't take it.
