Sister the show was three years in before I started watching.  My wife kept telling me about it and one summer I checked it out and ended up renting all the previous seasons to get caught up.  That was way back in the day when we had a Blockbusters.

Yep... and hulu.  I thought the series was over, but I saw it pop back up when I was looking for something to watch (I remember a convo on here about it coming back).  So I've been watching it ever since.

Decided to get a cheap tablet this weekend. I got one for the wife also. I was about to get an android tablet when I saw they had full blown windows tablets with the features I was looking for. I have a tablet actually capable of true multitasking although I probably can't open much with 1GB of ram.  :D The camera ain't all that but this will meet some basic needs.  ;D

The Asus I bought did not charge so I had to exchange it and the new one works. This is a 10in tablet also. I think the 8in size would be the good size for on screen typing. I have not got a chance to push it some yet. I like having a tablet/computer though. I'm going to see if it can do some video editing.

I got a Windows tablet so I can really multitask. I hate how when I play video or audio in a browser tab it stops on android. They may have fixed that on tablets though. I have not tried it. I don't have to worry about that now although the Windows tablets have their quirks too. Later I will get me another laptop upgrade. Would be nice if I could just do everything on on a phone but they will continue to play the computer economics game with the consumers.  :D

Day 1 of a two weeks no meats or fried foods.  Feeling early withdrawals.  The first few days one must get into a new routine and get over the mental hurdle that some things are restricted.

Aw man!  I had the craziest, coolest bday ever!  My best friend was supposed to come to town but she couldn't make it, so I was trying not to be bummed out and secretly hoping she would just pop up, lol!  My first lady and her family are like my family here in Cali, but two of her older boys left for college on Saturday, the oldest daughter left town, and then she found out she had to leave town on an emergency.  After church yesterday I felt a little pitiful that all of my bday plans were wrecked.  But my friend's husband was speaking in Oakland, so I decided to head over there and at least hear a good word.  I texted her to tell her I was coming, and she was like come on and we're gonna celebrate after church!  Man!  They took me out after service, bought me a beautiful card and gift... it turned out to be an awesome day! All day long I got calls, texts, FB posts and messages, with birthday wishes.  It was such a blessing.
