Congrats TJ. I can imagine how good you must feel. Incidentally I'm starting a new church and I am only asking for 7% tithes, not 10% like the other churches ask for.
So, in actuality, you aren't asking for tithes at all...
c.s. feeling apathetic about the church I attend we just finished our annual vacation bible school and there was just poor planning all about the first need we just assigned random people to be teachers. One person left to go out of town on the last night. So I asked a number of people if they would be wiling to fill in ... all just gave me awe had one college kid who was responsible for 20 something kids under the age of 10 and no one was willing to step up and help her out. I really just wanted to walk out and find some people who wanted to work so i can work with them instead of banging my head against this same wall of wanting to do something better but not being able to I guess that is my biggest gripe about small churches. People have to wear so many different hats they can't focus on being excellent on just one hat and then when it gets really small you start to struggle with just being acceptable sometimes because you start to get pulled in so many different directions.okay I'm done ... i think... I will get off my soap box
I've been doing read along Bible on biblegateway.com. My wife showed me how it reads to you. I was familiar with the site for years before she ever looked upon it. That little feature can be very helpful in your daily reading.
The YouVersion App on iPhone/Android will read to you, too. It's limited to certain versions, but KJV is one of them.

Took my daughter to college this weekend. My oldest went to California last week. My next oldest graduates high school next summer. The household has gotten a lot quieter. I love it and dislike it at that same time.
