Soo there's a rumor that John Witherspoon has passed. But I can't find a reliable source. So until then....he's yet alive.  :-\ I hope.

Working backwards, no, I didn't see the L&O episode.  While many fans care, we aren't concerned.  The main reason is folks are going to continue to play football, and we'll continue to watch. Lastly, I don't think it's thread-worthy but that's just one man's opinion.

CS: Went to the salon after work yesterday. She said my ends needed to be clipped, badly. I let her do it and now it looks much shorter. It's still past my shoulders but I can really tell she took a good amount off. 

*sigh* It'll grow back.  :)

CS: I am so grateful for the musician we have. Out of aaaaaaaaaaalllllll the musicians we've had, he's been THEE MOST consistent one. I chose wisely. LOL.

Anyways, as you all know I took a break from the praise team (until our Women's Conference which is the 24-26th). He told me he couldn't be there for that because he's going out of town. I was joking around with him about it, but I said ok. Last night, my Pastor asked me about him and I told her that he already spoke to me. She said that he didn't mind cancelling if we really needed him. I told her I wouldn't want him to do that (she didn't either), so she told me to call him and discuss it with him.

I just got off the phone with him. He said he was willing to stay and help out, but he planned on going out of town with his wife and kids to spend time with them. I told him to go, I wouldn't want him to stay, heck I wouldn't want to stay and I probably wouldnt even offer lol. Anyways, he's just a cool guy. And you can't say he does it for the money because..................... :-\ yeah.

Now, I have to find a musician. Blah..... This should be fun  :-\

If you guys don't have a church musicians FB page for Miami, you should start one. We have two and it is absolutely invaluable for networking, bonding, shedding, relationship building, and of course, finding/posting gig and job opportunities. I know quite a few cities that have them.

Never thought about that, or thought it existed. I know tons and tons of musicians. I just can't stand these Florida musicians. They act sooo snobby. I hate it. And our church is umm....not so generous when it comes to paying musicians. Which I can never understand. So... dealing with "these" musicians (Especially if we want a good one) and the pay.... I have no idea what to do.

Our musician charges $100 per night. These others..... pwah.

I think he's actually a member of LGM. Which I NEVER knew. But he's never on here.

Wow.  I just found out that the weekend I go to San Fran, my brother wants to fly me to Virginia to meet up with him and my sister on that following Monday.  The timing is perfect, because tickets are generally cheaper out of SFO and Oakland (moreso Oakland), and I'll be right there already.
