Hey....I had a question about your clip. How did get your drum track to sound louder than the original drum track?? I know you had to mix it in louder to cover it up, but how did you acomplish that and still blend in with the music??? Was it the crowd efx that played a part, or just everything you added, or did you do some kind of EQ'ing to hide to original track a little????  Let us inquiring minds know!!! ;D ;D

Ok here's what I did and its really simple.  I took about 75% of the low end out of the origianl track to cover up the original kick and bass line.  Then I mixed the drums, key bass, organ and rhodes in just a tad bit louder than the original.  It all just evens out since the vocals are mixed on top of the track (meaning louder than anything else) to begin with.  Then I added a lot of reverb to the crowd noise to make it sound bigger and make the live instruments blend with the track.  Then I added reverb to the stereo signal to give every track an overall balance and presence as if it was an actual stage performance lol!

That's real nice there lil bro  :)! I put my headphones on and it sounds like you was suppose to be on the live album. You when off at the 4:00 minute mark  ;D

Yeah tell waymond to post them chords.  I'll be coming up there in MILTOWN soon as i get some extra PTO and shed wit ya'll.  Maybe finally i'll get to show waymond a few things or two on the keys and he can help a stugglin brutha out on the kit.
