I have ths Roland XP-10, it sounds great, but many of the keys stick down, instead of coming back up. Is there any way to fix this?

Yuck! I had this problem with an old Yamaha. Have you taken the board to a repair shop or something.

BTW i have been trying for the past 3 weeks to find the Roland XP-50 and cannot find it anywhere!

No I havent taken it to a repair shop, maybe I'll do so when I can afford to. its only worth like 200, so I'm not gonna pay someone a whole bunch to fix it when I can sell and get another one.

You've been checkin craigslist? I'd go with the XP-80, as it has 76 keys, even though its a lot heavier and more expensive.

Trust me man, i have been looking. There is nothing in the DC MD and VA area. :(

I'd say just buy another one. That's an old board anyways.

Thats what I'm thinking. If I get another one, i'm upgrading.

Or I might just keep this one and use it as a midi module and get a weighted board.

Excellent idea. You won't even have to use the board, just the sounds. Is it MIDI capable?

I used it was a controller several times on the XP-10. I used it on my laptop and several modules. If you used the XP as a slave, use midi in on the XP to the other keyboard's midi out...if using the XP as a master, Midi out on the XP to midi in on the other source.

Thanks, I think I tried that, but I didnt get any sound from it. I'll try it again

Nope, not yet, maybe soon. The only sound I use on the xp, is the piano sounds. My pastor uses the XP-80, and he mixes the horns with the piano, and splits the bass, and it sounds pretty good, I'ma ask him how to do that.

Check the host switch in the back ( I think it's back there...I may be thinking about the Yamaha).
