If any one has ever played one or knows anything about one please give me some feed back. I know its not that popular of a organ but still thought id ask. I plan to pick one up this coming Sat.(Lord Willing)

Its cool, as long as you arent paying too much. Of course you will have to get a leslie to get that hammond sound.

Actually it's free, I talked to a tech and he said it would cost about 900-1,000 $ for a leslie, instalation,and switch. That's a good price right ?

I bought a Hamptone H122SK2 tremolo w/echo kit from BBorgan a couple of months ago for just over $300. It came with the Hamptone unit, 6-pin socket to install at the console, a halfmoon C/T switch for speed switching, and a M/E/E switch for speaker selection.

Keep in mind that while you can connect 122 type Leslies to the E-100 using a standard kit, such as the one mentioned above or the 6122 kit, you can not use either kit with a 147 type Leslie. I'm pretty certain there was no official connector kit to connect 147 type Leslies to Hammond consoles, although it can be done. That's where you want a tech to get involved. This is something to consider when selecting a speaker model. I highly suggest sticking with something like a 21H and 22H or a 122 or 142.

I would suppose $900-$1000 is a decent deal, only because you have to take into account that you'll likely spend around $250-$300 on the Leslie kit, another $400-$500 on the Leslie itself, then whatever service fee the tech will charge you.

I'd say thts a great deal. I would have expected you to pay $900+ just for the leslie + 300 on instalation + the kit.

Just make sure he's not giving you a 125 leslie, Id rather spend extra and have a 122 or 145/7 or something simular

Cabinet Size is:
48x26x48 (WDH, inches without bench),  which makes it only 3 inches deeper than the C3 while the height and width are almost the same as the C3.  You may want to reconsider the C3.

I used to play one exactly like that at my friends house during my high-school years.  I coulden`t turn one down if it looked like that!  At the price, you could aford to get a Leslie too.  A 122 or something like that could easily be transfered to another Hammond later.  An E-series like that has some variations that may include the lower 2 drawbars (16` and 8`) for the lower manuel; most don`t though.  This is a scaled-up spinet that includes a full lower manuel, and full pedal board, making it ideal for starting-out organ lessons, or just to jam with---what a steal....

I got it and it sounds great it has not been played that much diuring the last few years all the drawbars work a,d pedals. I have one problem the church i got it form dosent know where the bench is any suggestions ?

Hey Travis,congrats!  Might want to see if you need to oil the generator on that baby if it has sat that long.Craig's.e-bay on the bench;also see if your tech can find one.Parts are kinda pricey;recently picked up a set of pedals and bench for an X77 for $100;since my B3 is black looks good.So don't think HAS to be an E seris,probably an H seris etc. will work,might find one a little more reasonable.For example B3 benches go for $200 plus used;if not a LOT more and $200 plus for pedals.shop wisely and good luck  also check some other techs for organs they're scrapping and might help out(that's what I did)

We solved the bench problem, we built one.

Speaking of benches. My C3 bench from Valhalla Woodworking was delivered today. To save on shipping and finishing costs, I decided to order it unfinished and disassembled. Got most of it put together tonight. The glue has to sit for 24 hours just to ensure that it has thoroughly dried. The only thing left to put on it is the hinges and top piece. I'm going to wait until after I have stained and lacquered the entire bench before putting the top on. Here's some pics of what's completed so far.

Your CV didnt have the Quarterfoil engravings? I wonder if they could make a new bench like that.

My CV does have the quatrefoil pattern on both sides of the organ. I talked to Byron about putting those on the bench but he said it was very detailed work and couldn't justify the time and cost it would take to make them.

I've since stained the bench and applied multiple coats of polyurethane to the bench to match the finish of the organ. It is looking VERY nice. The main body assembly is complete but I had to apply a fourth coat of polyurethane to the lid because I did a final sand using steel wool and didn't like how the finish looked after sanding. The color looked faded. Should be ready to sit on tomorrow.
