There is no A natural in Eb major. So that F13 cannot be called a 2, because its a borrowed chord from another key.
Cs, i know that you know your stuff, and i guess i can see that Eb major has no A natural. You are correct about that.
However, i think T-block or Cas10a made mentioned to
"Key Centers", meaning that, isn't it true that even if a chord contains a note that is NOT in key, that the
"Key Center" can STILL be maintained if done right? (Like in the Stevie Wonder song or the use of Secondary Dominants, etc...).
In other words, wouldn't it be MORE confusing to write sheet music of that Stevie Wonder song, and each time a certain chord includes a note "out of key", then the KEY OF THE ENTIRE SONG would have to change?
And along the same lines, what about if you're playing a song in C major, and you start adding jazzy passing chords left & right (using them black keys), but the "Key Center" never changes, are you saying that we can't simply RECOGNIZE the Key Center, but must instead acknowledge EVERY SHARP & FLAT ALTERED CHORD THAT'S NOT IN KEY as a
"KEY CHANGE?"....
