Ay, it's all subjective when it comes to the word "good", especially when you mention the different cymbal companies.

There are about six pages if you use Paiste as your search term.

BTW it`s funny that there in Russia Paiste is much cheaper than Zildjian, almost the same price as Sabian.
Will you pay $900 for a 22" Constantinople ride? lol
I paid $500 for 21" Vault Crossover ride but again prices there are insane... And the gas costs there are the same as in US :)

Ay, the same import/export rules for pricing applies the same way.  As you probably may have guessed, the prices for Zildjian and Sabian are the opposite from your price point.

We have few companies selling musical instrumens and they price formation is kinda different, the biggest company here on the market were selling Zildjian and Tama brands, their main competitors selling Paiste, Sabian and Yamaha.

For example here the prices of same level cymbals from the big three:
Paiste 22" Light Ride Twenty - $430
Sabian 22"Heavy Ride HH - $437
ZILDJIAN 22‘ K‘ CUSTOM RIDE - $705

Paiste was riding high back in the day.  Especially when they came out with the "Rude" series and the colored(red, blue, etc) cymbals.  Stewart Copeland(The Police), and Sheila E. were two pretty popular endorsers back then.  I'm sure they're still selling plenty of cymbals.  The rock/heavy metal genre is probably keeping them going because that is where I see them the most.

You are referring to the Color Sound Series. I actually Own the Red Color Sound Ride. I use it at home when I forget my ride at church or something.

I think Sonor is the Paiste distributer in Europe. Yamaha is the Paiste distributer in the Americas... Maybe that has something to do with it.
