Alesis QS7 Question?????
« on: June 05, 2008, 05:53:57 PM »
I have a Alesis QS7.  However, when I turned it on today, the display light comes on and lets you see whatever you have programmed on the screen.

After about 10 minutes of playing, the display screen went blank.  The light was still lit but now I can't see any words on it.

Can anyone please help me out?   ?/?

Thanking you in advance.

I don't have the board, but I would check to see if there is an adjust for the LED display...

One time, my neices were messing with my Fantom, not over 2min. and somehow they found and played with the LED adjust...I thought there was something wrong with the board at first (similar to what you are seeing/couldn't read the display), but after looking it over I found the adjust and reset it...whew!...lol.

I have a Quadrasynth Plus, and when my screen went blank it was right after I was on some carpet setting up for a gig, and I shocked the board. It was a noticeable shock. Screen was blank, it still worked, I just couldnt see anything. I took it to get fixed for about $200, but left it in there for a whole year and racked up $350 more in storage fees. So all thats to say, it might be static electricity.
