Video editing software for youtube?
« on: April 23, 2008, 12:18:32 PM »
Hello to all,
I have recently started uploading some videos on youtube for my church.  I have one that was recorded on my cell phone and it came out sideways.  I am in need of a software program that will enable me to change the video properties.  I have already tried Windows movie maker and avs video editor and avs video convertor.  The file is a .mov and I can't even pull it up on a lot of programs unless it is first converted.  I thank you in advance for your suggestions.  God Bless.

I'd like to know too. I have a camera that makes mov files. I wish they would make it possible to choose which formats you want to use. NOw I cant even edit my clips, so I just have to put the raw file on youtube, and that is very annoying

I would highly recommend a Nokia N70 or any other phone that is similar.

I've recorded a number of videos with it & the quality is very good.
It saves as an "mp4"

The video also comes out upright..
Especially if it's a church thing, then if the church is planning to buy a phone for an employee / caretaker, buy one of those phones.

My dad also has a Samsung video camera--but I've never tried to put those on youtube..
I find the quality of the phone vid to be of the highest standard. the only area it might be lacking in is editing software :-\

The Nokia N70...

It's all about taking good care of your lenses..& in fact, I think the sound came out slightly better than the live perf ;D, but very slightly..

The one's I posted isn't the one I am talking about I am not going to post that video until I can edit it or atleast turn it the right way.  The video's come out very good on my phone so it's not the quality of the video, I fust need a convertor that can also edit my dimensions.  The video's that are posted were done with a video camera a lady uses at church.  God Bless
Oh yeah, my phone is the Motorola motoRocker
