Here is the secret to chords. This may sound weird, but this is the secret jazz performers and composers used for years. This allows you to use better chord substitution, chord superimposing and voicing (spreadin your chords). Here it is. Instead of thinking in terms of chords, think in terms of
MODES. That's it. Modes are scales and certain divisions of scales. Once you learn all your modes and how they are used like harmony (chords) and avoid notes, the sky is the limit. Keep an eye out for part II. This series is going to blow you away.
