"GOD WANTS A YES" by James Hall
« on: July 11, 2007, 01:18:46 PM »
This is a really powerful song, but I couldnt quite learn what was being played.  My ears arent as good as they should be.  But I was brought up to read music and stuff, so I can read really good.  So if anyone knows this song on the piano, could someone please help a brother in Christ out by writing it out.  Or write the notes and chords and stuff.  Or just tell me how to better my listening skills.  Thank you all much, in advance.  God Bless.  Love u all

Yea I have this version.  But what does "C# / B ( Bb - Ab )" at the very beginning mean?

Since u were brought up to read music, that version shouldn't be a problem for you, unless you didn't learn the chord symbols.

That first chord should be a C# in the bass(LH) and a B major chord in your RH.
Real musicians play in every key!!!

Yea I didn't learn how to read chord symbols.  I only learned how to read the music staff itself.  Because I didn't learn to read music for the piano, but I learned for wind instruments.

I actually did a video for this some years ago....

I didn't really do a good job of "explaining" it though.
