I don't know how many are a fan of Corrine Bailey Rae, but I somewhat enjoy her.  This news about her husband floored me.  It's a short article though:

I announced that in chat last night, but nobody else knew who she was... LOL.

I love Corinne.  She's absolutely awesome, and I was really saddened to hear about her husband's tragic death.

Thirty-one-year-old Jason Rae was a saxophonist with a funk band, the Haggis Horns.

Bailey Rae's self-titled debut album sold more than 1 million copies in the U.S. after its release in 2006.

I heard a few songs by her, and I wasnt impressed like I thought I would, maybe I'll give her a second look.

Lol @ nobody knowing who she is.   She's a good artist, but not one of my favorites.  But I could still listen to her, because her music is mellow.

I thoroughly enjoyed the entire album, to be honest.  But, my two favorites are "Put Your Records On" and "Like a Star."   The first time I heard of her was when she performed "Put Your Records On" on Jay Leno.  I set out that night to find her CD, and was not disappointed.  (That's also how I discovered Gnarls Barkley... lol).  It's very soulful, soothing, lightspirited, fun, easygoing kinda music...

Anyway, here's a performance of hers with John Legend and John Mayer at the 2007 Grammys.

I was saddened as well.  I am a fan.  Her CD was very good. Funny thing is, some friends and I were listening to her Saturday and talking about how cute she is and how quirky her voice and music is.  So this is very ironic. 

I hate that she lost her husband, but if I ever meet her..............

   Wow! Wow! You guys kill me! LOL :D :D :D  Once again, I minimize my computer screen because I'm at work and it's a government computer and some people are just all up in my business, for just 5 sec. and the topic changes....amazing! lol ;D

The lady is simply gorgeous.  Period.  Just gorgeous.

But, uhhh... is that the ONLY picture you could find of her?  One with her breast practically jumping out to extend greetings?  :-\  Like, seriously....
