And I'm listening to this guy fuming and venting about "what it is to be a black man......" and so on and so forth. He's blowin' up about "rich white people" running the country and the country Jesus grew up in. And how Hillary didn't this and Hillary aen't that. And he's so glad to have a God that knows what it is to dah dah dah.

Now I'm mad

...........'cause here are my people being washed down into this mess - age. Pattin' him on the back an' sayin' Amen. Prob'ly got real big offerin' too! Boy I tell ya.......flesh will be flesh! now won't it?

First Point
I dare not speak of a man of God this way and after all I do have some respect for my elders. But unless he was there to see Jesus' skin color I doubt that he has the first clue what color his skin was. so every time he says that Jesus was black HE'S LYING!!!!!

Second Point
From the mouth of Jesus himself in John 19:11............
11Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.
Sounds like Jesus knows he's king to me. Did he ever say that he knows what it is "to be black in a country controlled by rich whites"?
Now of course being my savior he knows the struggle. But not because he was suppressed (who can suppress God?) I would argue that he knows my struggle because he's ALL KNOWING!!!! (DUH!)

And my beloved are acting like they don't know no better. I bet ev'rybody found their way to his prayer line.

If I must.....I will set things back in order the best I can.
To my understanding there are four most important things to know about Christ.

#1) He's Lord
#2) He died for me and you (with all power)
#3) He rose for me and you (with all power)
#4) He's coming back for me and you (and he will have all power)

Please no more of this Black or White Jesus thing!!!!!

1. What "color" (race or ethnicity) would you suggest Jesus Christ was, while He was in the flesh?

2. Your "four most important things" are really kinda narrow-minded, in my opinion. There is so much MORE to know about Jesus Christ. Why narrow it down to only four things and call them the "most important?" If those four are indeed the "most important" does that mean that His sermons, His character, His appearance, His miracles, His ancestry, etc... are the "least" important? That statement, in general, strikes me as a "super-spiritual" kinda response that overlooks the depth of Dr. Wright's statement.

3. I have so much more to say, but.... I guess I'll just save my breath. I get the feeling if a highly educated Dr. Wright couldn't get his point across to you, surely my no-doctorate-having-self can't either. $:-\$

Well...............

1. I don't know what color he was! And I don't claim to have any idea! In fact I wonder why so many of us think it matters what color he was......why do we even weigh in with 2 cents on the subject of his race? if you can.....please answer this seriously for me?

2. In my mind, if he came to save our souls......then these are the four most important things to know about him. it doesn't go to say that his sermons and character are least or not important. And I agree that there is much much to know about Jesus....... after all he came to show us the way too. But I do have to ask what in the world difference does it make what color he was?

I also heard him say that Jesus was poor...........I beg to differ!
If you can feed thousands of families with 2 fishes and some biscuits......that's not poor!
How 'bout if you can make money come out of a fishes mouth?.........If you can do that I wanna ball like you!

Strike it up however you wont to.....That aen't the Gospel comin' out his mouf!
