the 18 is killing me, because if you lived at my grandparents home you went to church until you moved out, period. So if you was 31 still living at home guess where you will be on sunday morning...... hahahahah They really went there "as for me and my house" hahahahah.. The interesting part is only 2 of them came back home after moving out and only 1 tried the "I am grown" card but after my grandmother beat him down he had a change of heart.

p.s- i think he still has flashbacks about that hahahah "old school"

I gotta agree with your grandparents, Josh.  I don't care if you're 25... you're living in my house, you're following my rules.  Period.

oh, i agree with my grandparents. That is whats wrong with these kids now.... they think they grow, or better yet parents giving power to a children they shouldnt. let my childs tell me they aint going, haha my foot be so far up that bootie the water from my knee will quinch there thirst, lol!!!!!!!!!!!!

To answer your question...yup.. My parents let whoever was staying with us know, We go to church on Sundays and IF you're going to be staying here for awhile, we expect you to go as well. And we had a lot of houseguest, foster kids, teenagers and relatives that stayed with us and they sure nuff went to church. And if they said no, then guess what, they weren't staying with us :D :D :D

Oh yeah and when My dad first started pastoring, we started at the home, so it wasn't too much getting out of that situation :D

It still goes with, Your under my roof, out of respect, you follow my rules  :-\

Would and did. 

A good friend of mine from NY is a Jehovah's Witness, and when she visited me in NY, I told her before she came that she would have to go to church with me on Sabbath.  I told her that if she wanted to, she could find a Kingdom Hall to visit while I was at church, but they don't have Sabbath day services, so she ended up coming with me.  It was all good because I had been with her a couple of times, so she owed me anyway.  :-\

And I agree with what BW said her parents do.  It's the same way I handle it myself.

The majority won't.  In fact, I'd never heard of one who would until my friend, Roxxy.  But again, she really had no choice if she wanted to stay in my home during her trip to ATL, and plus, I had visited hers twice, so it was really only fair.

I dated a JW for over a year.  I had been to his Hall more times than I can count, and he refused to come to church with me, for any reason at all.

My aunt by marrige went to my Grandfathers funeral, even though she is a JW

My Moms friend in ATL and her son did not go to his High School Graduation, because it was held in a church. I think Eddie Long's or somebody like that

Yep, a lady at my church in NY didn't go to her grandmother's funeral because she became a JW so she didn't want to come back (to the very church she was born and raised in, built by her grandparents' hands).

Yea my nephew's mother is a JW and I remember she told my brother and my mother that my nephew will NEVER step foot in a church.  Well to God be the Glory, every other Sunday, Guess where he's at..IN CHURCH. She's breaking. She'll even come into the church to drop him off sometimes. And she celebrated this past Christmas. We be praying over that thing, lol :D\
