It looks like a B-3 setup he's got going.  You know if you open the cabinet up on your hammond organ there are some settings you can adjust to get a brighter sound out of your leslie but you have to be careful or you can mess your leslie up.  The Tone Conrol and the Percusion level's can been increase to get a brighter sound or lowered to get a distorted growling soung but usually on give it a half turn not a full turn.  Its good to have two people to test the settings out.  But if you pull the back of the cover off your Hammond Organ you should be able to adjust the Tone Generator settings.  It looks like a silver looking nobb that you can turn left or right.  I asked a guy that plays with these settings and he told me this information but you have to be very careful when changing the settings.

Thanks for the info. I forgot about the tone knobs. I was hoping it was something mor simple. I dont want the organ to sound like that all the time.

Unless the organ is yours or unless you know what you're doing, I don't recommend opening up the organ and changing things around. It's okay to look and learn but until you feel comfortable making changes, it's not a good idea. Just a suggestion.  ;)

Listening to the video, it sounds like the Leslie (which looks like it's been mounted to the wall near the ceiling) is single speed (fast/off) and the organist just didn't switch speeds. I can't hear any rotation at all.

Thats why I was hoping it was just his drawbar setting or something.

I've heard other organs sound like this, and thier leslies were mounted on the wall too.

Never understood the concept of the Leslie being mounted above floor level, lol. I have to have the Leslie at least 2-3 feet from the organ and on the ground.  ;D
