V-Day Recaps

Any Valentine's Day recaps?

I had to work yesterday til 8, so I'm going to take her out this weekend.  I got her 30 tulips since that's her favorite flower.

She got me a bear, a cup with the King of Hearts on it and a card with the King of Hearts on it saying 'Happy V-Day to the king of my heart'.  Inside the cup were cheesecake Hershey kisses, and there has to be crack in them. :D

I'm a BIG card player so all the gifts were fitting. :)

Well, my wife had to work yesterday, so when I got off of work, I spent time with my mom. I took her out to Chili's for some dinner nad gave her a card. Me and the wife exchanged our V-Day gifts several weeks ago. She had a new c.d. stereo installed in my truck, and I Bought her a bracelet and matching earrings. We will go out for dinner tonight when I get off of work. ;D ;D ;D

Actually it just means i worked late, got home grumpy and totally forgot about V-Day.

But I did get a couple of V-Day goodies from some of the most least-expected people. Must've been the cologne.  8) :D

I didn't do to much. I just called a few ladies and wish them Happy V-Day...One said it made her day cause she hadnt gotten anything.. And then I said You said you aint want a boyfriend....It's you fault

My wife and I celebrated 19 years of marriage together yesterday.  :)

She got me two "Dunder Mifflin Paper Company" T-shirts. Anybody who's a fan of the TV show "The Office" knows what I'm talkin' about...and she got me a chocolate rose.
I got her a DVD copy of the movie "Music and Lyrics".
We got our girls (the 'other women' in my life  ;D ) some Breyer horses and a box of Reese's cups.

We will celebrate our love all weekend.

Last night, Big Daddy and my youngest cooked dinner. He gave me perfume, a cd a dvd (Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get married) and a big ole Hershey Bar (My favorite).

We are celebrating again tonight by going out to dinner and going to a movie.

Tomorrow morning we are going to a Marriage Workshop.

......Well...I bought jewelry and candy and cards...then I had to figure out how to make it a surprise...so I had this dude from work deliver the presents to this restaurant that I like but she hates! ...I also arranged with the manager of the restaurant to be as sneaky as possible in the delivery ofthe presents to my wife.

....I call her up and remind her that we MUST go to this place cuz I'm the king!.......Boy was she mad...she hates this place!

...So she picks me up from work and it's valentines day eve and I dont have anything ...so now she's really fuming!..(the present have been delivered)

....I called her a few times over tthe last few days asking.." what are YOU doing for valentines day"?

......She is like...arent we supposed to do this TOGETHER!.....

...I just said...yeah ...yeah but I like this place...you can go some where on valentines day....

...so I'm eating my crab like real pig.....she looks really mad....the kids are bouncing around....she's looking at me like she wants to spit across the table at me.........(perfect!)

.....so long story short....we finish dinner and I order some desert.
but the waiters come over and say you are the 200th customer today so you just wone a free bucket of crabs......I'm like ....putting my bib back on!!!

....The lady puts the big ole bucket in front of my wife....but my wife pushes it away!...."I dont want this...give it to him!"....Then the waitress....(neck moving!)....NO!....It's for you!

...So my wife takes off the plate covering the bucket....and you should have seen her face!!.....Jewelry...godiva...cards for her and the kids!!!.......


...she is still thanking me!

This dude be talking all hard and making a bunch of noise...... but he is really a teddy bear deep down inside.

Did you pull out the acoustic and  sing some love songs over a bonfire.  I wouldn't put it past you now that I have heard this story.

Went to the gym and took a few plain strawberries to go that they had reserved for the ladies with chocolate and whipped cream.

Got maybe 1 or 2 texts, sent 1 and called it a night.

Then my sister came back from the mall @12am wanting a ride back home. Thats her story I dont know what went on, all I know is I was PO'd waking up. I didnt speak to her the whole way home.

The same thing I do every year whether I have somone or not. I buy myself some chocolate and call it a day. I'm 26 I've never had a valetine even if I do have a boyfriend on that day we don't do anything ?/?. How do couples plan for the date? Are the women suppose to say something or does the man say something first? How does work?

 i fixed choir rehearsal for val day. Wanted to give them choir members a treat. But only a few showed up.
