This is not good. Wow.

Thousands without power (including us). Power lines in the middle of the streets. People looting. Roof literally torn off buildings. Hickory ridge mall severely damaged (looting).  People shooting back at cops to get what they want.  Please pray for Memphis.  They say more twisters will touch down by midnight. I'm on my cell.

Wow. That is horrible. Looting AND shooting? With more to come? I'm praying for you all.

I'm surprised CNN hasn't picked this up yet, but considering what today is, I'm sort of not.

I'm surprised too because I've been basically glued to CNN most of the day and I haven't heard anything about this. My goodness!!! Stay safe Herman!!!

At least four confirmed dead in memphis. Major search and rescue going on at union university.  Jackson got hit hard too.  You should see the pictures on the news. I just saw them at a friend's house. I cried. Wow.

Cool. I was in the area last night. Trees were down and Tchulahoma was blocked.  On our end Winchester is blocked due to the mall situation and all the debris.

My goddaughter was hungry and they were in the dark.  I went by Little Caesar's (the only thing open in Hickory Hill on my end) and took it to their house.

It took me an HOUR to get down Shelby Drive.

Then, I turned on Tchulahoma to go to their house.  After I crossed Raines, I couldn't go any further.  White trucks were blocking the rest of the street because of all those trees in the middle of the road.  I immediately thought of you two.

To get to their house I had to go back up Shelby Drive to Airways, go back to holmes and then turn on their street from the back way.  The pizza was "lukewarm" but my baby ate!  LOL!

That is crazy, Thank God yall alright.

As for the looting, What do you expect? Thats what black people do, (Katrina, North East blackout of 04, Watts riots etc.)
People stealing electronics but dont have no house to put them in ?/? We gonna have people in shelters with big screen TVs and dvd players  :D
As for shots being fired  ?/? ?/? ?/? ?/? ?/?

The wall of Sears - Hickory Ridge Mall is gone.  Rafferty's (my favorite location) GONE.  The Taco Bell we go to 98% of the time....GONE!

I'm at work now and there aren't many saints present and accounted for this morning...had to stay home with kids because most schools here are closed today too.

I was thinking about everybody in Memphis and Arkansas last night.  Hopefully you all are ok.  Nashville, TN dodged a bullet last night.  The tornado sirens were going off all night in my area.  We got some serious wind and hail in my neighborhood.  I did hear that "roar" during the storm and just prepared myself mentally that I may not make it through this storm.   The tornado literally skipped over Nashville and came right back down just north of here.  They showed the wall cloud going over the downtown area.  It was rather scary to see.  They also reported that about 20 tractor-trailers were blown over near the Jackson, TN area.  I have been in a few storms where my truck was getting blown around and it is not a good thing to experience.  I-40 was outright shut down due to these trucks overturning.  So far the total death toll is at 42. 


Those of you that are checking in, I am glad to see that you all are ok.

I hope to own one of those one day(along with a Lamborghini Murcielago as well).  There a couple of those in Memphis to my knowledge.  I may be coming to an annual car show in Memphis this summer that features exotic cars.

You wrong for that :D

Did yall see the pics of the lambo that flipped over and caught fire. The driver could not get out because the car was upside down, making it impossible to open the doors.(that flip up) I think I'm gonna stick to cars with normal doors.
