thanks T-Block!! the way you lay out the chords makes it real easy...but let's say you wanted to "spice" up the chords since they're pretty simple and repetitive, could you give an example of something you would do?

Well, on the chorus part, after the first chord I would add in a little 7-3 progression before going to the next chord.  Then, I would change that next chord to something else:

E / F#-G#-B-E
D# / C#-F#-A  *added 7, chord is Dm7 (b5)
G# / C-E-F#-B  *added 3  chord is G#7 #5/b9
C# / B-C#-D#-F#  *chord changed to B/C# instead of a C#m7

Other than that, I would be using different inversions of the RH chords to improvise.  I might even throw in some runs using the major scale.  For example, after the end of the Bridge before going back to the Chorus:

 / A-B-C#-E  God Almighty,
G# / F#-G#-B-E  Lord of glory,
F# / A-B-C#-E  You have called me friend
B / A-B-C#-E

After that last chord, I would start running the E major scale from maybe a low F# and end on the Eadd9 chord at the top of the keyboard for the start of the chorus.
